Steamboat inspection certificate, 1849 Mar. 16.

This collection consists of an inspection certificate, dated Mar. 16, 1849, indicating that the boilers and machinery of the steamboat, Consignee, were "good and sound and fit for use." The master of the boat was J.H. Lockwood. It was docked at Wheeling, Va. (now West Virginia).
